Phylactery

A phylactery is a vessel for sealing away a soul. With the soul safely lodged inside, the fall of the body need not be the end; in the world of necromancy, it is the long-sought way to cheat death.

Graves does not yet have a phylactery of her own. Her mentor taught her how to escape death, but she is still waiting for that day, and for now must make do with something close at hand.

“One day I'll get a phylactery of my own, but this will have to do for now.”

“总有一天我会拥有属于自己的护身符，但现在只能先用这个了”

A phylactery is not something you get just by wanting one. When someone hoped she would lend a hand, all she could do was spread her hands helplessly.

“Wish I could help but phylacteries don't just show up on their own.”

“真想帮忙，可灵魂匣又不会自己冒出来。”TL
