Unicorn Horn
The horn on Celeste’s brow is her greatest secret, and at the same time her deadliest weakness.
Poachers have set their sights on it and mean to saw it off. Calico, for one, has said that she knows people who would pay a lot of money for that horn.
“I know people who would pay a lot of money for that horn of yours.”
“我认识些人,愿意花大价钱买你头上那只角。”TL
To keep the poachers away, Celeste would rather hide among the Sideshow, letting others believe her looks are nothing more than part of the act. Every time someone else tries to get their hands on the horn, her fury boils over.
“I'm so sick of those assholes trying to steal my horn.”
“我真是受够了,那些混蛋老是想偷我的角!”
Faced with those who covet it, she gives no ground.
“You're not taking my horn, Calico.”
“你休想拿走我的角,卡厉可”
Mockery from others stings just as much. Lady Geist once asked what sort of woman glues a horn to her head and calls herself a unicorn.
“What sort of woman glues a horn to her head and calls herself a unicorn?”
“什么样的女人会把角粘在头上,还自称独角兽?”TL
As her power climbs, Celeste does not forget to answer the gossip in kind.
“Let's see 'em say I glue a horn to my head now…”
“看看他们现在还敢不敢说我是把角粘在头上”
