A thirteenth-century monster-hunting crossbow
This crossbow is said to date from the mid-1200s, and it never leaves Venator’s side. Each time it is reloaded, it stands ready for the hunt to go on.

The relic has drawn other eyes as well. Mo & Krill were curious about its age, and pride themselves on having an eye for antiquities.

Paradox of Paradox, for her part, made no secret of liking it. Venator’s reply was cool, and carried a warning.
“How grand. Try to take it and you will become very acquainted with it.”
