Edmund Volker was a Belgian, once stationed in Lost Whisper. He left very little trace behind, and today he lives on mostly in the words of those who knew him.
Seven once said he had come across power like that of Nurse Harrow before, and asked her whether she had been stationed in Lost Whisper.
“I've come across your power before. Were you stationed in Lost Whisper?”
“我以前接触过你这种力量。你曾驻守永寂黑渊吗？”TL
Nurse Harrow said she had not, but that she knew someone who had.
“I was not, but I know someone who was.”
“我没有，但我认识一个去过的人。”TL
It dawned on Seven at once, and he named him “the Belgian.”
“Yes... I see now. The Belgian.”
“是……我明白了。那个比利时人。”TL
Nurse Harrow then gave his name and explained their connection: they had shared a mentor, which made them something like fellow disciples.
“His name was Edmund Volker. We shared a mentor.”
“他叫埃德蒙·沃尔克。我们师出同门。”TL
“I won't insult you by offering my condolences.”
“我不会用慰问来侮辱你。”TL
Seven said he would not insult her by offering his condolences — Volker, then, must no longer be among the living. How he came to that end, neither of them said.
