Oklahoma lies in the heartland of the United States. Drifter once brought it up, teasingly asking Grey Talon whether he was still raw about what happened there.

The place is tied to another story as well. Vyper did time in Oklahoma City, and she swears the people there hold Drifter up as a legend, a bona fide boogeyman.
