The Chimera Mark 1

奇美拉Mark 1

The Chimera Mark 1 is a soul-powered jet pack worn on the back. It bears the Fairfax Industries name and is forever being modified by McGinnis. It is a means of conveyance and a complete weapons system both, armed with Strix soul-killers.

Deadman Danny is its most tireless salesman, and its test pilot as well. Every time he takes to the air he talks up its virtues without pause, even when he might crash at any moment.

By his own account, in the first week of testing it used to explode before lift-off, so there are already improvements to be seen; and mastering heat release is an essential skill for any Chimera pilot.
