Rat King's Crown
The Rat King makes no secret of his fixation on a crown: he once told Bebop that he would make his new crown out of Bebop’s skull.
“I'm gonna make my new crown out of your skull, Bebop”
“我要用你的头做我的新王冠,比波普”
That fixation has drawn covetous eyes of its own. Paradox declares that the Rat King’s crown will make a nice addition to the Paradox Museum sooner or later; she has also warned him that she won’t let him steal a whole island before she does.
“Your crown will be a nice addition to The Paradox Museum”
“你的王冠将成为悖论博物馆的绝佳藏品”
“I'm not gonna let you steal a whole island before I do.”
“我不会让你在我之前偷走整个岛屿。”
Both the Patrons court the Rat King with the lure of a throne, though each names a price of its own. The Archmother promises that if he stops the minions of The Hidden King, she will adorn his head with The Hidden King’s emptied crown (see the Crown of the Hidden King).
“Stop the minions of the Hidden King and the Archmother will adorn your head with his emptied crown.”
“阻止隐王的爪牙,源祖就会将他空空的王冠戴在你的头上”
The Hidden King, for his part, says he sees a kindred soul in the Rat King, and invites him to reign alongside the true kings of New York.
“The Hidden King sees a kindred soul in you, Louis. Complete the Ritual, and reign alongside the true kings of New York.”
“路易斯,隐王视你为知己。完成仪式,与纽约真正的王者一同统治”
