The Soviet Empire

The Soviet Empire is a power that has flourished in a brave new world of mysticism, led, so it is said, by the specter of Catherine the Great. Its reach extends to every corner of the globe, and its spymaster, “the Raven,” has been tasked with scouring the earth for strange artifacts and old tomes.
Raven is this very empire’s agent. Having brought him down, Pocket could scarcely believe he had felled a Soviet asset.
“I can't believe I killed a Soviet asset”

Those he has in his sights get no peace. Pocket is convinced that the operative has to be after his own mysterious case, the one known as Pocket's Case.

Between the Empire and the Djinn there is no room for détente either. Mirage declares that there will be no reconciliation between the two.
