Ted
泰德
Ted is someone in Celeste’s circle, and by her account a man who is doing well.
He is plain-spoken, not one to put in a kind word for a friend’s gamble. Wraith once asked Celeste how he was doing.
“How's Ted doing?”
“泰德过得怎么样？”TL
Celeste answered that he was good — he just thought she was stupid for doing this.
“He's good. Thinks I'm stupid for doing this.”
“挺好。就是觉得我干这个很蠢。”TL
Wraith did not argue the point.
“He's probably right.”
“他八成没说错。”TL
Ted’s connections don’t end there. Celeste once asked Solomon whether Ted had told him what was happening.
“Ted tell you what was happening?”
“泰德跟你说出什么事了吗？”TL
Solomon’s answer had to do with Lenny, and it came as no surprise to him at all.
