The Separation Ritual

In the one body of Sinclair live Henry and Savannah, two souls wrestling each other for control. Both Patrons have told Sinclair the same thing: such a state is not sustainable, and the way out of it is this Separation Ritual.

The Archmother promises that if she is summoned, she can set things right; The Hidden King’s words are all but identical, save that the one to be summoned is himself.

“Two souls wrestling for control of one body is not sustainable, but The Archmother can set things right. Summon her.”

“两个灵魂争夺同一具身体的控制权是不可持续的，但源祖可以拨乱反正。召唤她吧”

“Two souls wrestling for control of one body is not sustainable. But the Hidden King can set things right. Summon him.”

What the ritual demands first is not sorcery but a change of heart. Both Patrons say plainly that Henry and Savannah must put aside their petty squabbles; only then may they be free of each other.

“Henry. Savannah. You must put aside your petty squabbles, only then, may you be free of each other.”

“亨利，莎瓦娜，你们必须放下彼此间的琐碎争吵，只有这样，你们才能真正摆脱对方”

Once the ritual is complete, The Archmother or The Hidden King can part the two souls. Both Patrons say, too, that it will undo the folly of Sinclair’s youth.

“Complete the ritual, Sinclair, and have the folly of your youth undone.”
