The Cube

The Cube is Viscous’s healing cube; even a being like Bebop, who is not organic, seems to be healed by it.

In Viscous’s mind, it is a place where no one is angry. He once invited a thoroughly angry Vindicta inside.

“Would you like to be in The Cube? No one's angry in The Cube.”

“你想进魔方里待一待吗？魔方里没有人会生气。”TL

For Viscous, the Cube is close to a creed. When Bebop asked why it could heal someone like him, who isn’t organic, Viscous simply replied:

“We don't question the cube.”

“我们不质疑立方。”

Nor does he want it all to himself. He urged Drifter to spend more time inside, insisting that everyone likes the Cube.

“No. You'll like it, everyone likes the cube.”

“不行。你会喜欢的，大家都喜欢立方。”TL

Having tried it for himself, Billy admitted that he was liking it too.

“Ok, I'm liking the Cube.”

“好吧我喜欢这个立方”

Viscous’s pride in the Cube shows even when he jokes. He set his cube against Kelvin’s dome and insisted the cube is better; Kelvin only answered that he wouldn’t go that far, but Viscous would not give an inch.

“I would. Because it's better. It's The Cube.”

“我敢。因为它就是更好。它可是方块。”TL

Viscous insists that the Cube is free to anyone who needs it.

“No. The cube is free to anyone who needs it.”

“不。立方对任何需要它的人都是免费的。”TL

After a spell inside, Deadman Danny declared that there had been a cube-shaped hole in his life all along.

“There has been a cube shaped hole in my life that I never knew existed until now”

“我的人生里一直有个立方形的空洞，直到现在我才知道它的存在。”TL

Viscous says it’s not a contest, the cube is just better; Nurse Harrow, once inside, marveled that so this is what the Cube feels like, then set her mind on looking into its healing properties, and told Viscous he must become her intern.

“Viscous, you must become my intern…”

“魔液，你必须来当我的实习生……”TL
