The Holliday Family

The Holliday family is a dynasty of lawmen, in which a sheriff’s title and an heirloom gun pass from one generation to the next. Holliday's Revolver is the emblem of that inheritance.

Holliday received the gun from her father as a girl, and learned from him how to use it.

“Dad gave me the gun, and he damn sure taught me how to use it.”

“爸爸给了我这把枪，而且他确实教了我如何使用它。”

To her, sheriff has never been just a title, but a standing she must back up with what she can do.

“Sheriff's not just a fancy title: I know how to back it up.”

“警长不仅仅是一个花哨的头衔：我知道如何名副其实”

She never got to meet her grandfather, yet when she draws, she asks him to guide her hand, and she has vowed to make him proud.

“Grandpa, guide my hand…”

“爷爷，指引我的手…”

“I never got to meet my Grandpa… but I know I'll make him proud.”

“我从未见过我的爷爷… 但我知道我会让他感到骄傲”

The family’s expectations are an honor and a burden both. Apollo, for his part, coldly declares that she didn’t live up to the family name.

“She didn't live up to family name.”

“她辜负了家族的期望”
