For generations, Warden’s family were militant alchemists. They always feared that one day they would have to face a mystic apocalypse, and so, generation after generation, they trained for that day.

But as time passed, the weight of the warning grew lighter and lighter. What was once a solemn warning was slowly taken by their descendants for little more than anecdotes told by superstitious forebears.

“My family failed to protect this city once before… it cannot happen again.”

“我的家族曾经未能守护这座城市…绝不能再发生一次。”TL

Warden still carries that guilt today, and has sworn to make up for his parents’ failures.

“I will make up for my parents' failures.”

“我要弥补父母的过失。”TL

“I can't fail like my parents did…”

“我不能像我父母那样失败…”TL

Nor has the family’s name faded with it. When Lady Geist speaks of Warden, she spits out a single phrase.

“Militant alchemists…”

“好战的炼金术士…”
