Miss Shelly's Junkyard
Where Bebop makes his home
Miss Shelly’s Junkyard is run by an elderly lady, Shelly Fisher. To Bebop, it is not just a place to work but his home. When Billy asked whether he worked at a scrap yard, he set the record straight:
“Live at a scrap yard.”
“住在废料场”
There is always work waiting at the junkyard, and whenever he is called away, he never fails to say so:
“There's work to be done at the junk yard.”
“废料场里还有很多工作要做”
Infernus once asked him how the old lady who runs the junkyard was doing, sounding as though he knew her; Wraith, on the other hand, cannot stand to see him spend his time here. Bebop answered that helping Miss Shelly is never a waste of time, but Wraith pressed him on how long he was planning on lying to that lady:
“How long are you planning on lying to that lady.”
“你打算对那位女士撒谎多久”
The junkyard is a place where Bebop welcomes friends, too. He once invited Drifter to come over after the Ritual:
“In that case you should come over to the scrap yard after the ritual. I'm sure Miss Shelly could help out with dinner.”
“既然如此,仪式结束后你就该来废料场了。我相信雪莉小姐可以帮忙准备晚餐。”
On the battlefield, the place has also become something for his opponents to taunt him with. After striking him down, Warden told him to go back there:
“Go back to the scrapyard, Bebop.”
“回到废料场,比波普”
