Rockefeller Center
Rockefeller Center is a famous landmark in the heart of the city, known for its skating rink at Christmastime. Every holiday season it fills with crowds of skaters, a symbol of ice and of the festivities.
In New York, the name has also become a jibe. Wherever Kelvin goes, paths of ice wind behind him, and those who chase him like to compare his ice to the famous rink. Wraith once told him:
“This ain't Rockefeller Center, buddy.”
“这可不是洛克菲勒中心,老兄。”TL
Celeste said it in just the same tone:
“This ain't Rockefeller Center, Kelvin.”
“这可不是洛克菲勒中心,开尔文。”TL
Solomon, with his usual composure, reminded him that he was a long way from that rink:
“You're a long way from Rockefeller Center my friend”
“你离洛克菲勒中心可远了,我的朋友。”TL
The Doorman’s advice was blunter:
“Stick to Rockefeller Center, Kelvin.”
“开尔文,待在洛克菲勒中心就好。”TL
Kelvin himself seems to relish it; wherever he goes, he says, he brings Rockefeller Plaza with him:
“I bring rockefeller plaza wherever I go…”
“我走到哪里都带着洛克菲勒广场…”
