Apollo's mother
阿波罗的母亲
The legend impaled on a tree
Apollo’s mother was born into the Ixian ruling family. Of her life, all that has been handed down is its terrible end: she was impaled on a tree.
In Ixia, the deed did not fade with her death; instead, the children made it into a rhyme sung in the schoolyard. The Doorman once brought it up to the face of her son, Apollo:
“Apollo, how does it feel to be a part of a family so hated that children in Ixia sing a schoolyard rhyme about your mother being impaled on a tree?”
“阿波罗,身为一个如此受人憎恨的家族的一员,伊克斯亚的孩子们在校园里唱着一首关于你母亲被钉在树上的童谣,你感觉如何?”
His words make plain that the Ixian Ruling Family she belonged to is reviled in Ixia, and that she herself died by cruel violence.
