Illinois
Illinois lies in the Midwest of the United States, and it is Holliday’s home. She comes from a small town in the middle of the state, where Macomb left her with memories of the harvest festivals of her childhood, and later with the shadow of the Macomb Murders.
When someone asked where she was from, she answered in a single word.
“Illinois.”
“伊利诺伊州”
She says she comes from central Illinois, and that is why she has never thought well of rich folks like Fairfax.
“Nah, I'm from central illinois - I just assume they're assholes with god complexes”
“不，我来自伊利诺伊州中部——我只是认为他们是有上帝情结的狂徒”
Those fields have also given her opponents something to mock her with. The Doorman once told her to go back to “the cornfields where you were safe.”
“Go back to the cornfields where you were safe…”
“回到你安全的玉米地…”
Yet far from home, she has never hidden how much she misses it.
“I can't get back to illinois fast enough…”
“我没办法尽快回到伊利诺伊州…”
Ivy had always thought she was from Illinois.
“Thought you were from Illinois”
“我还以为你来自伊利诺伊州”
