The Outer Planes

The Outer Planes, sometimes simply called “the planes,” are the otherworldly planes that lie alongside the mortal world. They are no single country but a vast expanse, and Ixia is the best known place within it.

In New York, the Outer Planes stopped being a legend long ago. The New York Oracle prints travel tips for a vacation in Ixia:

An exhibition being mounted at the MET, meanwhile, puts rare artifacts from there on display:

Not everyone welcomes them, though. As the fighting in Ixia drags on, the Friends of Humanity have announced a rally in New York, demanding an end to aid for the outer planes:

“As the military campaign in Ixia continues; the controversial political orginization "Friends of Humanity" announced a rally in New York to demand the US cease sending aid to the outer planes.”

Even The Archmother’s voice, ringing out over the battlefield, has told Pocket that his ambition “reaches across the planes”:
