South Ixia is the southern domain of Ixia, and now the 52nd state of the United States. The newsboy cries it on the street: five years since it officially joined the Union, and folks across the country are planning to celebrate.

To the north, North Ixia still burns in the Ixian War. Deadman Danny turns people’s worry for their countrymen in South Ixia into a sales pitch for the Chimera Mark 1 from Fairfax Industries: pray for peace, by all means, but prepare for war — and what better way to protect the 52nd state?
“My friends, there is a war ravaging North Ixia… and while we all pray for peace, for the safety of our countrymen in South Ixia we must prepare for war. To that end I say: what better way to protect the 52nd state than with the Chimera Mark 1?”
