Binding Ward

The Binding Ward is a ward on Lady Geist’s arm, there to hold Oathkeeper in check. It was the work of a craftsman of rare skill, and he has since died.

Nearly everyone who sees it admires the craftsmanship first. Mo & Krill said that whoever made it was an artist at their craft, and Lady Geist agreed in just a few words.

“That binding ward on your arm is very impressive.”

Grey Talon praised it as well, and was sure someone would love to speak to whoever designed it; the answer was that the designer had died.

Yet the ward is weakening. Dynamo remarked that it was looking in rough shape, and Lady Geist owned that it was a fact she was keenly aware of; Drifter declared that it wasn’t lasting much longer.

The Doorman put it more bluntly still: it won’t hold forever, and sooner or later Oathkeeper will come for Lady Geist.

“That ward on your arm won't hold forever Geist... Oathkeeper is coming for you.”
