外环平原
The Outer Planes
外环平原，有时也被称作“外域”，是与人间相邻的异界位面。它并非单一的国度，而是一片辽阔的疆域，伊克斯亚便是其中最为人所知的所在。
在纽约，外环平原早已不是传说。《纽约神谕报》会刊载前往伊克斯亚度假的旅行贴士：

大都会博物馆筹办的展览，则陈列来自那里的珍奇器物：

但并非人人欢迎它。随着伊克斯亚的战事延续，人类之友宣布在纽约举行集会，要求停止对外层位面的援助：
