Ambassador Nashala

Nashala is the ambassador the Djinn have sent to New York. She has come for a deal still waiting to be brokered, and her escort is her bodyguard, Mirage.

She dwells within a vessel, which Mirage carries with him. When she is free of her vessel, Mirage says, she offers scintillating conversation; when she rests, he gets to go bowling.

“I do. When she's free of her vessel, she offers scintillating conversation. When she rests, I get to go bowling.”

“是的。她离开容器的时候，就会跟我聊得兴致勃勃。她休息的时候，我就去打保龄球”

Lady Geist once made sure that Mirage was “Ambassador Nashala’s bodyman,” and said that when the ritual was over she would like a chat with the ambassador. When Mirage asked what it was regarding, she said only, “That’s not your concern,” and so he told her to come back with her request once she had decided to be forthright.

“You're Ambassador Nashala's bodyman, yes?”

“你是那沙拉大使的保镖，对吗？”

After besting Apollo, Mirage remarked lightly that he would have Nashala write his opponent’s father a letter later. He also told Drifter that he was a man Nashala had long since warned him about, and that she knew his deeds.

“Nashala has warned me about you.”

“那沙拉警告过我提防你”

The Doorman is just as courteous toward her. He promised Mirage that, should the bodyguard lose his life in service, he would take appropriate care of the ambassador and transport her wherever she needs to go.

“Know that if you lose your life in service today, I will take appropriate care of Ambassador Nashala and transport her wherever she needs to go.”

“请知悉，如果您今天因公殉职，我将妥善照顾那沙拉大使，并将她送往她需要去的任何地方”

Her position is far from secure. Having downed Mirage, Lash announced that the ambassador was going to need a new bodyguard; Solomon, for his part, mused that this could hardly be how the ambassador had thought her trip would go.

“I can't imagine this is how the ambassador thought her trip would go.”

“我想那位大使的旅程绝不会是这样的。”TL

Kelvin, too, has an eye on the negotiations. He asked Mirage whether Nashala had a chance at brokering the deal; Mirage answered that if anyone could pull it off, it would be her. Kelvin then looked forward to reading all about Mirage’s travels, only to be turned down flat: revealing those details would be a break of her trust.

“If there is anyone that can pull it off, it will be her.”

“如果有人能做到，那肯定是她”
