The Djinn’s dreamed-of new homeland
Wyoming is a state in the western United States of America. In the reckoning of the Djinn, it is their best hope of a new homeland: they wish to buy part of the state’s land from the American government and found a sovereign nation of their own there. Mirage, a member of the delegation that came to New York with Ambassador Nashala, carries the task of seeing it done. For the full account, see the Wyoming Land Purchase.
Mirage is wholly certain of this land.
“Soon, Wyoming will be ours!”

Not everyone thinks it will come to pass. One poured cold water on it to his face, calling it nothing but a pipe dream.
“Wyoming is a pipe dream, Mirage... the Djinn are doomed.”
“怀俄明州只是个白日梦，蜃景……镇尼注定要失败”
Another, who had been there himself, told him to give up the idea.
“I've been to Wyoming, you don't want it.”
“我去过怀俄明州，你肯定不想去”
In the eyes of Rem, though, it is a beautiful place.

The United States Federal Government has remained cautious about the deal throughout. Haze said plainly that she is not a politician, and that her approval will neither help nor hinder the Djinn’s chances.
