凯登泽
Cadenza
凯登泽是一座岛屿，由菲尔法克斯实业的创办人一手建立，后来成为美国的第50个州。
麦金妮当年已在菲尔法克斯任职。她回忆说，那时自己还只是个年轻人，担心丢掉工作，众人惶惶不安，唯独菲尔法克斯本人出奇地冷静。
“说实话，我们其他人比他更紧张。我当时只是个吓坏的孩子，因为我以为我要失业了，但是菲尔法克斯出奇地冷静。我觉得他没指望凯登泽会永远存在下去，他只是想在立法出台前充分利用这个机会。而且，他还说他成立了美国的一个州。”
“Honestly, the rest of us were more rattled than he was. I was just a kid freaking out cause I thought I was going to lose my job, but Fairfax was surprisingly calm. I don't think he expected Cadenza to last forever, he just wanted to make the most out of an opportunity before legislation caught up. Plus the guy gets to say he created one the United States.”
岚梦曾向她问起此事，并认为对看重身后名的人而言，亲手创立一个州，或许比金钱更有分量。

“when you're someone who cares about legacy as much as he does, that's probably more valuable than money.”
此后，菲尔法克斯实业试图借“公平税收法案”，在最高法院收回对该岛的主权。
“最高法院将在下届会议上就菲尔法克斯公平税收法案作出裁决。我们的第50个州能否继续留在联邦？菲尔法克斯工业公司能否成功重新夺回对凯登泽岛的主权？一切都将由时间来揭晓。”
“The Supreme Court is poised to rule on the Fairfax, Fair Tax Bill next session. Will our 50th state remain in the Union? Or will Fairfax Industries successfully regain it's soverignty over the island of Cadenza…only time will tell.”
空骨丹尼曾夸口，利齿与爪子根本比不上凯登泽打造的钢铁。
