The Goat Head
比利的头是山羊的头，这是他亲手造成的。他对此毫不讳言，却从不肯说出缘由。
在他看来，这颗羊头并非无谓的损伤，甚至带着几分好处。
“这不是我把头变成山羊的原因，但这是个好消息”
“It ain't why I turned my head into a goat, but it's a helluva perk.”
他还把羊头与异界力量相提并论，拿来回敬那些自恃不凡的人。
“你以为你拥有异界力量就高人一等？醒醒吧，伙计，你以为羊头是从哪儿来的？”
“You think you're special because you got eldritch power? Newsflash buddy, where you think the goat head came from?”
围绕这颗羊头的议论从未停过。灵魅一厢情愿地认定他是愿赌服输，当面表示敬佩；灰爪则把自己没有变成山羊当作胜过比利的地方。
“听着比利，我知道人们会因为有山羊头而对你大吃一惊，我只想说我真的很感激无论你输了什么赌注都足以应对后果”
“Look Billy, I know that people give you shit for having a goat head and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate that whatever bet you lost to have that be the case you were man enough to follow through with the consequences.”

“I think the fact that I didn't turn my head into a goat makes me better than you.”
至于究竟如何弄到这颗羊头，比利警告旁人不要多问，否则他会动手。
“你问我怎么弄到这羊头的，我就砸烂你的脑袋”
“You ask me how I got the goat head I'll bash your skull in”
连开尔文这位惯于记述他人故事的人刚开口问起，比利也一口回绝，唯恐自己成了对方下一本书里的主角。
