Midtown
市中心位于曼哈顿，高楼林立，街上的车流时常堵得水泄不通。
格瑞墓出身于此，她的父母在这里拥有一处顶层公寓：
“我父母在市中心有一套顶层公寓，你觉得怎么样？”
“My parents have penthouse in midtown, what do you think?”
而在她眼里，亡者在这里并不安分：
“故人在市中心苏醒”
“The dead are stirring in Midtown.”
街面上同样不太平。比利盘算着在这里掀起一场暴动，亲口说道：
“中城还有暴动等着我去挑起来。”译
“I got a riot to start in Midtown.”
《《纽约神谕报》》曾报道有人戴着圣诞帽在此扔刀，报道直言那人就是希弗：
“有人看到一个戴着圣诞帽的帅哥在市中心扔刀子。会不会是希弗？没错，就是希弗”
“A handsome sonofabitch in a Santa Hat was seen throwing knives in Midtown. Could it be Shiv? Yes. Yes it's Shiv.”
至于西尔芙，为了躲开这里的车流，宁可打发时间去筹备仪式，也不愿去洗衣服：
“听着，我得打发时间躲开中城的交通，所以要么召唤远古神明，要么去洗衣服，可我没那心思叠那堆破玩意儿。”译
“Look I gotta kill time to avoid Midtown traffic, so it's either summon an elder god or do my laundry and I don't have it in me fold shit.”
有人邀亥芮护士去市中心同一群不良分子闲逛，她冷冷回绝，说自己要照料被附身的病人：
“是啊，我该无视照料那些被附身病人的职责，跑去跟一群不良分子在市中心瞎转。这提议可真诱人，别烦我了。”译
“Yes, ignore my duties tending to possessed patients, so I could run around Midtown with a bunch of miscreants. What a compelling offer, leave me alone.”
